7+ Ways to Use Facebook Live in Groups & Events to Cut Costs, Grow the Group & Create Buzz (10 Min Podcast)

Video content is BIG. Social media platforms are embracing video content and pushing video to the top of feeds. Recently, Facebook decided to institute its new live video streaming option for Facebook groups and Events.

The catch is that you don’t have to be the owner or moderator of a Group or page or the creator of an Event to be able to LIVE broadcast to everyone in the group!

At the onset, that sounds pretty scary. You know, the idea that any random person can just start streaming any and everything on your feed. Eeek! It is my hope that there is some way for managers and owners of pages to disable the function for anyone to live stream.

However, on second thought, I’ve come up with at least 7 ways that Facebook Group and Page owners and Event organizers can use this tool in a way that can improve the experience for members, develop trust for small Facebook group and create some buzz and excitement of an event as it is going on, or for future permeations of an event.
