I’ve been a fan of Kanye West for a long time, even after his political alliances and controversial comments about slavery gave me pause, I continued to follow his work.

I’ve written  penned a piece in the past on business and marketing lessons we entrepreneurs could learn from West’s “Life of Pablo”  global Popup shops and so when I saw that he was charging $225 for sweatshirts that read “Holy Spirit” and $50 for socks that read “Jesus Walks” during his Sunrise Easter Service at the Coachella Music Festival in California that garnered over 50,000 attendees, I had to pause to reflect and admire another business lesson that I saw in that bold, yet controversial moves!
