So one of my favorite bands, The Roots, will be opening for the President’s rally in Philly this Sunday as part of Obama’s “Moving America Forward” rally series.
Going to head out there for Politic365.com and see if I can witness first hand and account for the the spirit of what the president and the Democrats are trying to capture, energize and ignite among that party’s electorate. It’s going down in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. The rally will be held at the park next to Robert Fulton Elementary School; doors will open at 3:00 pm and the program will begin at 4:00 pm.

I went to see them with my good friend Grammy-nominated neo-sould singer-songwriter Wayna, who was 7 months pregnant in this photo, when they performed at the 9:30 club in DC earlier this year.
