There is yet another example of a social media site taking down a site of a popular user and this time, it was gossip blogger B.Scott. I know of him from his famous website, “Love, B. Scott“, that he started in 2007 and follow his  Facebook page for that blog which has about 1M followers.
Well, I found it curious when I saw an ad that he obviously targeted towards his Facebook fans float across my screen announcing that after a 17 months hiatus after being pulled down off of Instagram following a dispute with a photogapher, the site was back up, thanks to the help of his attorneys!
I was curious, so I dug into why the popular social media website did that and what happened. I discuss it in this quick 9 minute video I posted on my YouTube Channel.
In it, I discuss:
- Why did popular gossip blogger B. Scott’s Instagram got taken away?
- What happened to all those popular gossip blogs of the 1990s?
- Why does Instagram and Facebook yank my videos with popular music in the background down and how do they do it so fast after I post them?
- Paparazzi killed the 2000s gossip blog industry but then social media killed them.
ENJOY!
