The world lost a great mind this week when author, Nobel Prize for Literature laureate Toni Morrison died at age 88.
The author of great novels like “The Bluest Eye”, “Sula”, “Cry of Solomon” and “Beloved” left a great mark in the world with her very critically-acclaimed writing that was thought provoking, stimulating and riveting.
She was the first black woman to win the Nobel Prize for Literature and in 2012 received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from then President Barack Obama for her work.
